Shipping Information
· Shipping quotes are only guaranteed for 30 days. BRI Aquatic Cabinets guarantees the quoted rate even if it changes after 30 days on confirmed orders with deposits only.
· Business to Business shipping is the cheapest option. Residential rates can range from 30 to 70 dollars extra.
· Lift gates do not come standard on all trucks. Trucking companies charge extra for a lift gate. Even if the truck has a lift gate on it, they will not deploy it without consent to the extra charge. Charge is usually around $75.00 but each company is a bit different.
· Truckers are not movers. Their only commitment is to bring the merchandise to it's destination. Not unload it or assist with bringing it into the home/business. While my own experience and through feed back from vendors is they will assist in removing the cabinetry from the truck, it is at the driver's discretion and can not be counted on.
· Every piece of furniture is packed to insure damage free arrival. However, once you sign for the item it is yours. If you notice any damage to the box, no matter how small, you must have the driver indicate it as such on the bill of laden. Otherwise they will deny the claim. You will then be stuck with a damaged cabinet and no recourse for compensation.
· BRI Aquatic Cabinets reserves the right to refuse to use any particular trucking service. We have been doing this for several years now and have had better experiences with some and very disturbing experiences with others.
· Always save the packing and skid until you are satisfied the cabinetry is in acceptable condition. All returns must be repacked with the same effort/quality as it was originally shipped out in.
· Returns are covered in several different ways. If the trucking company has acknowledged the damages, all cost are covered. Freight is only guaranteed to a percentage of the cost of the item. BRI Aquatic Cabinets will pick up the difference. If the damage is not noted by the trucking company and is minor, buyer pays the return freight, BRI Aquatic Cabinets covers the repair and return freight, which claims qualify for minor repair status is solely at the discretion of BRI Aquatic Cabinets. If the damage is major and not documented by the trucking service, buyer pays for everything.
